Upgrading CONTACTfile

Upgrades are free. The current standard upgrade is version 6.7.7.

When upgrading CONTACTfile, there is no need to uninstall first; it will all be dealt with automatically.

If you are upgrading from version 4.3 or earlier, you will need to ask your supplier to do the upgrade for you, since the automatic routines will not cover early modifications.

If you are upgrading from version 6.3 or earlier, you will need to request a new passcode from your supplier. This will be provided free of charge.

Before you carry out the upgrade:

  • Close CONTACTfile.
  • Make a backup of your data.
